In 1979, the band released the double-LP, Head East Live! and A Different Kind of Crazy. The former also peaked on the US Top 100 charts.

The first video I posted was from A Different Kind of Crazy, which is my favorite album, and I believe is one of the top ten rock albums of all-time.

Here is some incredible concert footage of Head East playing to packed stadiums

The songs on Crazy are very different than those on this video, which probably aren’t songs I’d want to listen to a lot.
I don’t think I could ever get sick of Spirit Crusher.

"I’m gonna be" by the Proclaimers (embedding disabled)

"Velvet dog" by Sister Psychic on the 1994 album, Surrender, You Freak!

This is a GREAT song, and here are some words I was able to quickly copy down, and this is a 30 second sample of it:

Well I’m
Ice in your scotch and soda
When I’m
Pins in your bowling alley
When I’m
Sit in your Plymouth Valiant, dear
The place where emotion takes you
Won’t forsake you
But I’m not the dog in the velvet painting
Never gonna be your dog
Uh Uhhh
Smoke in your toaster oven
reason you’re off at eleven
page in your favorite novel

Fivespeed – Halo
For 25 years, I haven’t enjoyed a song that was new to me as much I have with this one. It is so cool the way Jessy Moss blends in her vocals so masterfully.

Ya gotta hear this song. Sorry, I couldn’t find a youtube video for it, but the song is "Beat to a pulp" by Jessy Moss on the 2006 album, Down at the disco. The whole album is excellent.

Here’s a 30 second sample of it, which doesn’t let the song shine, but at least you can get an idea of it:

Bohemian Rhapsody – Queen & You Raise Me Up – Josh Groban
Muse – Soldier’s Poem
Dire Straits – Romeo & Juliet
